God's Forever Covenant With Us (Psalm 89:26 37)

In Psalm 89:26-37 And he will call out to me, ‘You are my Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation.’ I will make him my firstborn son, the mightiest king on the earth.   I will love him and be kind to him forever; my covenant with him will never end.   I will preserve an heir for him; his throne will be as endless as the days of heaven. But if his descendants forsake my instructions and fail to obey my regulations, If they do not obey my decrees and fail to keep my commands, then I will their sin with the rod and their disobedience with beating. But I will never stop loving him nor fail to keep my promise to him.   No, I will not break my covenant; I will not take back a single word I said. I have sworn an oath to David, and in my holiness, I cannot lie: his dynasty will go forever; his kingdom will endure as the sun. It will be as eternal as the moon, my faithful witness in the sky!”   God is faithful to his covenant with David and Jesus to all their descendant and that

Wisdom saves you from evil

He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity. He guards the paths of the just. And protects those who are faithful to Him. (Proverbs 2:7-8) I hear it a lot these days.   People giving way too much credit to ‘luck’.   Verses like these ones remind me that there are no such things as luck.   Soon or later if you are not protected by the Lord evil might come knocking on your door.   I don’t wish it to anyone.   It seems to be clear to me though that unless you show some integrity in your life, and you are following the righteous paths you will be protected.   You cannot bet on ‘luck’ to protect you because she might not be around for long or around when you really need her.   As for the Lord God he will be faithful if you show yourself faithful.   He will be your Reward.   Often Christians look like the losers but wait and see.   There is an invisible hand at work for any obedient Christian who follows the Lo

It must be that as a Christian my hope was not yet solid .  I suffered depression and suicidal thoughts .   It was like a downward spiral pulling me under like the time I almost drowned in the Italian waters of a lake when I was 10 years of age.   During my depression, I realized hope was not my anchor like it says in Hebrews 6:19-20 This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls.   It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.   Jesus has already gone in there for us.   He has become our eternal High Priest in the order of Melchizedek. Purpose of this post It is to show you how wonderful the Bible is, and its words are so accurate in meaning.   Hope is alive.   Our hope is alive and wonderful, it is precisely an anchor and not just a wishful thinking that per chance it is going to take place.   Our hope is solid like an anchor, and it is unmoveable.   Believe me you need it amid the storm of despair tossed back and forth by suicidal thoughts and wha
