Why Is Jesus Alive Today?

        1) Jesus, the only One alive today Of all the prophets and teachers that lived Jesus is the only one who rose from the dead and is still alive today.   Just think of this for a moment if a religious leader is dead why do we worship him as being alive.   Jesus Christ is the only one who is alive, and we worship him as such. In Matthew 28, we see the grave is empty because Jesus rose from the dead and the angels proclaim it. 22)       The Life that Qualifies us He is alive so he could live but why would Jesus live?   Because all along God planned to reach the world so he could save the world starting with the Jews all the way to the last of human being.   He does not want anyone to miss this good news.   The purpose of Jesus being alive is to forgive humans their sins and give them eternal life in quantity and quality.   Eternal life is the life Jesus is made of.   His teachings and lifestyle represent quality which is higher than any other religious teachers.   The quali

What is Truth? (John 18:38)

“Pilate said to him (Jesus) What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, I find in him no fault at all.” (John 18:38) That is the Question Pilate had asked that question about 2000 years ago without it seems really wanting an answer.   Since then, the world has had its own idea and philosophy of what the truth should be.   Many people today have their own personal view of what is truth.   No one really is teachable and ask question about it.   We just stubbornly make up our own truth to avoid it altogether.   If Pilate had been teachable, he would have known the truth because the truth was with him right there at the front of him.   Pilate represents what a lot of people are like today.   The Truth is right with them and in the front of them and yet they still ignore.   Nevertheless, there is a price for that, and it is costly.   There is not much time left for you to know the truth.   You are better finding it soon. The Truth is Personal “Jesus sa

Opinions are Just Opinions

Opinions are just Opinions As I share with you my heart, I like to share my God.   It opens me to be honest with you and sometimes I may be seen by some of you as being opiniated but am I? I want to share the Bible and because of this I might share what I find in it as best as I can interpret it even if it does not agree with present society.   Yes, the Bible does not always agree with my opinions.   Opinions are only valid if they agree with the Truth of the Bible.   If opinions are lies, would you not agree that they need to be discarded. In Matthew 12:9-13 Going on from that place, he went into their synagogue, and a man with the shriveled hand was there.   Looking for a reason to bring charges against Jesus, they asked him, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?” He said to them, “If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will you not take hold of it and lift it out?   How much more valuable is a person than a sheep!   Therefore, it is lawful to d

Help Me God! ( Psalm 43)

Help Me God! (Psalm 43) As I meditated on this Psalm, I did not realize that today would be Thursday and that the post had to be published today which I am doing right now. The psalmist is experiencing adversity.   Does that ever happen to you?   Life can be chaotic. Most of my chaos happens because of my attitude to situations I find myself in.   They are all reactions filled with a lot of up-and-down emotions. Most of my situations and feelings through them can be dealt with the Light and Truth of God. Verse 3 (French Bible transliteration) “Make me see your Light and Truth, May they guide me to your holy mountain, (Light) May they drive me to your dwelling!” (Truth)   Light guides us Truth leads us.   Verse 4- Don’t you feel his desire to be with God and where he really is? He, then, realizes his mistake and notes that God is indeed his greatest JOY. Folks, there is nothing else that will bring you JOY like God.   Money is futile and does not last and s

Clear Announcement (Isaiah 45:18-19)

Clear Announcement For the Lord is God, and he created the heavens and the earth and put everything in place.   He made the world To be lived in, not to be a place of Empty chaos.   “I am the Lord,” he says, “and there is no other. I publicly Proclaim bold promises.” (Isaiah 45:18-19)   Every word in the Bible should agree with the other and agree also with the spoken word.   If someone now tell you the heavens and the earth were created by God.   You can now say: “Yes, I know I read it in my Bible.   The Bible is the Word of God written on paper.   It even proclaims itself to be Truth.   Whatever God has said is True and to be believed.   He can boldly say in confidence what he wants to say because it is always True.   He is the Absolute Truth.   No lies is found in him.   People may have lied to you, even so-called Christians, but he never will.   You might sometimes have not liked what has happened in your life but was it God’s fault.   We often perceive so

Moment of Truth (Luke 23:38-43)

Moment of Truth (Luke 23:38-43)   Many times, while Jesus was condemned, he was challenged on his ability to save himself if he was…the king or the Messiah (v.38,39) Because of ignorance, many did not know the purpose of Jesus was to save the world, namely you and me.   He came as the Saviour of the world, and he was not going to deviated from that mission.   Now that he was on that Cross with some criminal, he had to die to fulfill that mission to completion.   This was nothing more than a temptation from Satan to stop him short of his goal.   Do you find that Satan tries that one on you too stopping you short of your goal sometime? You see, you are not alone in your temptations, the whole world and especially Jesus had to go through them as well. The one criminal who was crucified with Jesus did not fear God or respected him at all.   He was the one who challenged Jesus to save himself if he was the Messiah. But the other criminal acknowledged Jesus’s innocence and was sa

Misunderstanding (John 8:32) (John 14:6)

Misunderstanding I hear from a few people that are not of the Christian faith accusing us Christians of forcing them in our faith.  I am sure what they mean is that they feel convicted by the Holy Spirit. Let us be clear on that.   If you feel convicted by the Holy Spirit to accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour and are sorry for your sins, then moving on the next step and becoming a Christian is the way to go.   Believe me, it’s like moving from homeless to being set free from all bondage and heavy loads and hurts. It is God freeing you and it is wonderful to have a relationship like that.   To illustrated: Salvation is moving from a lonely place to a place where you have one relationship that lasts and is satisfying to its fullest if you obey God. Before I became a Christian, I was always angry and hateful at myself and others but the very day I became a Christian on March 21, 1979, I was a changed man, and I sang songs to God without anyone telling me to do it and was given a Fre

The I AM's of God

The “I am’s” of God All that you need If you know him as he is, you don’t need another miracle.   To know him should be your miracle.   All that he is, is with you. Because he is with you, it makes sense when he also says: “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5).   When you understand that truth, you will be alone.   When you trust him, all your needs are met. I am who I am (Exodus 3:14) God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. Here is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.'" This was the original verse of the I AM's.   The first time that God was promising Moses that he would go with him to the Israelites. The name I AM packs a punch and suggest that all the names of God are included in it. It was under God's authority that Moses went to them.   The names of God and Jesus also show people that you come under his authority and not your own. In the New International Reader's Version, it says it this way: "
