The Church Can't be Stopped

Almost 2000 years ago, the True (Born again) Church of Jesus was born in Jerusalem through the gift of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost.   Ever since its start the Church has been debated upon, divided, mocked and even persecuted much like what happened to our Lord Jesus Christ at the crucifixion.   Even though many forces have tried to rid the world of the Church.   The Church has survived centuries of hardship both physical and mental. Just as Jesus Christ was risen from the dead, the Church likewise is a living organism that will live on. Look at what happened to the apostle Paul also Saul who was going to destroy the Church at the very start.   In Acts 8:3 “But Saul was ravaging the church, and entering house after house, he dragged off men and women and committed them to prison”. In chapter 9:3 The same Saul is blinded by a vision of Christ: “Now as he went on his way, he approached Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven shone around him, And falling to the ground, he heard

Our Heart's cry (Isaiah 63:7 to 64:12)

Our Heart’s Cry (Isaiah 63:7 to 64:12) First, let’s start at the end of this long text.   We will understand better the heart of God toward his people.   In this case, it is Israel.   But for New Testament people, it is the born-again Christians who are God’s chosen people.   God’s people have throughout history been known to rebel at times. Isaiah 64:11-12 “Our holy and beautiful house where our fathers praised you, has been burned by fire, and all our pleasant places have become ruins. Will you restrain yourself at these things, O Lord?   Will you keep silent, and afflict us so terribly?” We can see clearly that the prophet Isaiah is concerned with the house of worship, in our world today it would be our church or the Church of Born-again Christians. Now at the very beginning of this passage in Isaiah 63:7, he wants to remind God’s people of the goodness of the Lord and our motivation for praising him.   Have we forgotten how good he is and have we forgotten the importance

The Seed must die first (John 12:24)

The Seed must die first   I got so excited about the deep subject of death that here I am again bringing it to you with renewed vision.   Most people out there are excited (maybe a bit) about life.   They ‘want a better life’. In John 12:24 Jesus seems to present it from a different angle: “Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel Of wheat falls to the ground and dies, It remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.”   To me, it simply means that to experience the true life you and I need to figuratively die (Be careful here I did not mean literally).   It just means that your self-desired life must die first before you can live a life where you will be truly satisfied.   Not seeking self, but God’s desires for your life.   The seed must die in the ground before there is an explosion of life producing a plant and fruits.   Just think of what will become of you when figuratively you will die, and life eternal will come to you in its fullness.   In life’s princ
