O Lord, you alone can heal me; you alone can save.  My praises are for you alone! In this verse, the word "alone" is mentioned three times.  God is the only one who can heal you at the present or heal your mariage or heal whatever needs healing.  He is also the only one who can save you, that's true! But let's never forget the second part of this verse...He is the only deserves or should get all the praise for any healing or salvation of any kind.  He is the one who initiates it all. Let heaven fill your thoughts.  Do not think only about things down here on earth.  For you died when Christ died, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. Now, it's interesting to note that we are not the ones working hard at filling our thoughts with heaven but, rather we should let heaven fill our thoughts.  We do the resting and get filled in the sense no longer worry about the things which is the system of this world.  Worry is work but we rest knowing that heaven is in charge of the whole thing.  We have a responsibility though, and that's to cease every opportunity that God provides for work and if that's not on his agenda for our lives, just to trust him and obey him.  The Literal Translation of the English Bible is for Colossians 3:2  "The things above mind ye, not the things upon the earth."...Meaning: You mind the things of heaven, but never mind things upon the earth. Jesus even said in Mathew 6:25 "Take no thought for your life"

Choose a good reputation over great riches, for being held in high esteem is better than having silver and gold. We seem to be surrounded by people who compromise their reputation.  We are sometimes tempted to even  ourselves obey the lures of the Tempter, the devil, because a proposition looks so appealing. We have to be aware that those propositions could ruin or damage our reputation. We need to guard our reputation every day as if it was gold or silver and I think this also is part of the fear of the Lord we must experience.  Temptations will always come our way, but we must resist them with the strength of the Lord. Whoever you are today and whatever the job you do, work with integrity and pride because God is very aware and he sees every part of your life. Stealing is one of the highest factor in lost revenue for many employers everywhere. "...See, God has come to save me.  I will trust in him and not be afraid.  The Lord God is my strength and my song: He has become my salvation." Although boasting in anything causes one to stumble, boasting in God increases our confidence in him.  We can then confidently affirm with the prophet Isaiah.. .See, don't you see what this God who is real and living has done for me.  This God has saved me.  It's not money or the government that have saved me but...God and he is much bigger and stronger to do the job and do it well in his time.  Maybe not right now but at the perfect time.  This is why he says next...I will trust in him and not be afraid.  I can think of a lot of time when I have worried and not trust God in certain situations and he seems to always come through.  Something happens right at very end of my struggle and I can't take it anymore...then he comes through and I am sure that if you have a relationship with you he has shown you this favor as well

For I am like a tree whose roots reach the water, whose branches are refreshed with the dew.  New honours are constantly bestowed onme, and my strength is continually renewed. At this time in his life Job had experienced his own personal plague.  You talk about chaos he received it all from losing his children to being personally attacked physically.  It was ugly!  The coronavirus doesn't even come close to what he endured.  And now,  he is able to speak this into his life as he recalls his former blessings..."I am like a tree..."      (Check out also Jeremiah 17:7,8) What if we spoke that word over ourselves everyday?  What a difference would that make?  What do you say to yourself?  What kind of tree are you?  A weeping willow or an oak Do you notice a certain dignity and majesty in most trees as they stand tall and robust?
