Beauty in the Bible

Beauty in the Bible

Beauty everywhere

There is beauty everywhere you look in nature and, in your family, whether you think so or not.  Of course, I am not saying it is all beauty because I am sure if you are like me I see ugliness as well.  I have learned to look at everything with a thankful heart.

Beauty in the Bible

Many people have been quick to point out the ugly part of the Bible.  Like God’s judgment of sins on his people and other nation as it should not be expected of a just God.  As if too lenient parents were benefiting a nation rather than handicap it.  How long will we let ourselves slip into a life of listlessness and disorder?  We have found excuses for our every sin and attitude.  We seem to not care about our future as much and we have stopped on dreaming.

This is where the Bible deals with us and confronts us.  Shall we run from the Scriptures as we have run from anything else?  How PRESENT do we want the truth in our lives?  I know what I am saying pulls on some of your heart’s strings as they did mine.  All I want to make sure that you know in the end is that God loves you.  He is deeply concerned about you as I am.  Enough to not leave you in the mud and dirty as the people of Israel found themselves when they rebelled and ran from God.

The Message of the Bible

In simple words, the message of the Bible is that without God’s help after Adam and Eve brought sin on themselves and the entire human race after them.  The sin of rebellion and pride has gone rampant since then.  Jesus Christ, because of God’s great love for us came into the realm of time more than 2000 years ago to save us and die for our sins that whosoever believe might have Eternal life and be forgiven.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believe in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  (John 3:16)
