Thoughts Transformation

 

It probably would not surprise if I said to you that the central figure of Christianity is Christ.  Yet too often he is shoved off his throne and replaced by most of us by self.  It unfortunately shows up in our teachings of self-help nature has failed to provide the answer to our needs.

 

We need more than mind self control and transformation.  We need somebody to be ever-present by our side, even better, someone within.  Meet Jesus! He is our human/God answer to all our needs. He is also our Lawyer if we want him to be.  He could stand between us and God and make the way to God a lot smoother.  So, you need more than new thoughts.  You need a whole new relationship with your Maker.

 

Living Word

 

Jesus is the Living Word.  You can have him right in you.  He is powerful enough to change you into a new being.  The Bible is not an ordinary book, it is more than paper and ink.  It is full of life because the Holy Spirit has inspired the men who wrote it.  This is why this Book is able to transform you from glory to glory.

 

Humanly Speaking

 

Humanly speaking…a human being as I cannot remain stagnant very long.  I must change and be curious about life.  What about you?  Are you happy with the way you are?  Do you want to stay like this?  Would you also be happy if you never improved your life?  Judging by the accumulation of books in library, hunger for knowledge never ceases.  There is always room for improvement in any field.  Men is always on the look out for changes.  What about your life’s improvement?  Would the company of someone like Jesus change your outlook on life.  He is Almighty God as your Master-designer.  You cannot lose anymore.  It is a win-win situation.

 

Does God need you?  No, but he wants to transform you into a being of love to the world.  Let go of the past and live constantly in the Present with Him, Jesus…The greatest person that ever lived and is alive today to come back again.

 

He (Jesus) will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David; ( Luke 1:32) Spoken at Jesus’s birth

The Fruit of the Spirit...Patience?

  As I was being tested, patience was required, and I was waiting with much complaining.   Then my wife encouraged me to read the Fruit of the Spirit out of the Amplified version of the Bible.   So, I did and here it is: “But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others],   joy [inner] peace , patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting],   kindness, goodness,   faithfulness,   gentleness,   self-control.   Against such things there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22-23) These verses not only apply to us as we go through our daily life but especially as we wait for the Lord’s return.   How we act while we wait for him does matter and it is very important.   We learn as we go through trials.   For a lot of people, the word “patience” is not welcome in their vocabulary, and I can tell by my own life I am not the only one who finds it difficult to act well while we wait.   We can all wait as this

Is It a Blue Christmas?

  Just to Let everyone know that I usually post on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays .  I will try to keep posting during Christmas as well on those days.   Is It a Blue Christmas? For those people who are fortunate to not grieve right now please bear with us.  My mother passed away last May.  I am living now in her house with my wife.  If my wife was not with me, I would find this very difficult.  Being in this house is so emotional and everything reminds me of what it used to be when I was with my parents.  Sunday morning the pastor preached on one of the attributes of the son that was to be born to Mary and Joseph about 700 years after the prophecy in the book of Isaiah 9:6. The Holy Spirit: My Guarantee

  Holy Spirit is a Guarantee   Being a Christian is not based on emotions or on an opinion, but it must be based on assurance of the Comforter in me . The Holy Spirit is the seal of guarantee of the Eternal life God has promised to every Christian. We know we are a Christian not by our feelings but by the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives.   The Spirit is the guarantee [the first installment, the pledge, a foretaste] of our inheritance until the redemption of god’s own [purchased] possession [His believers], to the praise of His glory. (Ephesians 1:14 Amplified )    It is a personal reason   For this very reason we ought to praise him. It is a personal reason for our well-being as Christian. We are going to make it because of the Holy Spirit being active in our lives.   We must allow him to be involved in our daily lives intimately, not holding on to any of our self-ambitions.
