It is happening!

Well, it is finally happening. After taking the month of September off. I needed it off so we can visit our three grandchildren about one thousand kilometres apart (2 and 1). We had a new arrival in the family and our third grandchild was born. A little girl named Mielle which is the French feminine word for "honey". She does live up to her name and she is a doll. We are so blessed, we are sometimes not even aware of how much we are. Gratefulness goes a long way and works hand in hand with praise and worship. I encourage you to be more grateful. The Faithfulness of God's Word (Psalm 119:137-144)

137. O Lord, you are righteous, and your decisions are fair. 138. Your decrees are perfect; they are entirely worthy of our trust. 139. I am overwhelmed with rage, for my enemies have disregarded your words. 140. Your promises have been thoroughly tested; that is why I love them so much. 141. I am insignificant and despised, but I don't forget your commandments. 142. Your justice is eternal, and your law is perfectly true. 143. As pressure and stress bear down on me, I find joy in your commands. 144. Your decrees are always fair; help me to understand them, that I may live. Mind over Matter Thoughts Transformation It probably would not surprise if I said to you that the central figure of Christianity is Christ. Yet too often he is shoved off his throne and replaced by most of us by self. It unfortunately shows up in our teachings of self-help nature has failed to provide the answer to our needs. We need more than mind self control and transformation. We need somebody to be ever-present by our side, even better, someone within. Meet Jesus! He is our human/God answer to all our needs. He is also our Lawyer if we want him to be. He could stand between us and God and make the way to God a lot smoother. So, you need more than new thoughts. Mind over Matter Thoughts Transformation It probably would not surprise if I said to you that the central figure of Christianity is Christ. Small Investment = Big Results (Mark 4:30-34)

Jesus said, "How can I describe the Kingdom of God? What story should I use to illustrate it? It is like a mustard seed planted in the ground. It is the smallest of all seeds, but it becomes the largest of all garden plants; it grows long branches and birds can make nests in its shade." Jesus used many similar stories and illustrations to teach the people as much as they could understand. In fact, in his public ministry he never taught without using parables; but afterward, when he was alone with his disciples, he explained everything to them. Have you ever seen a mustard seed? It's Okay if you have not because Jesus tells us in the text that it is the smallest of all seeds. In God's kingdom it's a different economy all you need is a small investment but any banker out there would tell you it's foolishness in the world.
