Let's Celebrate Hope (Romans 15:13) (2Peter 3:9)

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him,

So that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit

(Romans 15:13)

It has come to my attention that as a New Testament believer there needs to be more celebration happening in my life.  Although, there is a difference between partying and celebrating.  Partying can get out of control, but with celebration it must be done with order.  We seem to know how to celebrate different holidays.  I had just like to give it a different spin.  Life and hope must be celebrated during the holidays or any day of the year.  Whether we are believers or not, life and hope can always be celebrated because whether you like it or not you have both by the simple fact you are here alive and healthy.  God is so merciful to all of us because if he was not this whole world, we are on would not survive very long.  I am so fortunate to have his Mercy in my life.  Because of it, troubles come in my life, and they go away, just like that.  Amazing, don’t you think?  Some people call this luck, but I call it love of God.  Which leads me to warn you about the force in this world that would come against that love.  The tricks of Satan to keep anyone from seeing and experiencing that LOVE are many.  Be careful!

In conclusion, hope is the one thing we must always focus on in our life and celebrate it with Praise and Adoration to our Maker because he truly let this world get away with murder.  To many that might mean “neglect” or “ignorance” on his part, but to me and to the Bible it only means Mercy and Love.  God is not willing that any should perish, he is even merciful to the criminals.

Although, their times will come for punishment but until then God is all about Mercy.

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness.

Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish,

but everyone to come to repentance. (2Peter 3:9)

A short definition of the word “repentance” is the turning away from our evil ways and to God.

None of us are righteous except through faith in Jesus.  Accept him today in your heart!
