Running out of options (Isaiah 45:21-25)

Do you ever feel you are running out of options as to where you must go or do?

I felt like that this last week and then the Lord showed me what I was supposed to do.  Obey him!

He is so loving.  His way in my life was to simply put a wall at the front of me and I would get frustrated until I knew what he wanted.

I have that feeling also that the world is running out of options when God says this:

“Consult together, argue your case.

Get together and decide what to say.

Who made these things known so long ago?

What idol ever told you they would happen?

Was it not I, the Lord?

For there is no other God but me,

A righteous God and Savior.

There is none but me.

Let all the world look to me for salvation!

For I am God; there is no other.

I have sworn by my own name;

I have spoken the truth,

And I will never go back on my word:

Every knee will bend to me,

And every tongue will declare allegiance to me.

The people will declare,

The Lord is the source 0f my righteousness and strength.

And all who were angry with him.

Will come to him and be ashamed.

In the Lord all the generations of Israel will be justified,

And in him they will boast.

(Isaiah 45:21-25)

 That’s it folks, God is it.  So, what are all these debates about men’s greatest religions and powers?

No need to argue.  God has made you run out of options.  He is the only One left for you.  But he is more than what you have dreamt before.  He is the last option but the best one of all.

 

God has a way in anyone’s life to put a stop to their search right now.  Where you see the Cross and the Blood that is where he is.  He is not the movie stars and politicians.  He is where the lowly are so he can relate to anyone and put himself in their shoes.  To see him you have to bend the knees a little and obey!
