My New Home

If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.  Set you minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.  For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.  When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. (Colossians 3:1-4) Not that I should even ask if you Christians are of the earth or of heaven?   Here Paul makes it very clear that our thoughts should be focused on heaven where Christ is with God our heavenly Father in a place of authority.   Does this mean then that if our minds and hearts are not geared toward heaven we would be robbed of that authority?   Most assuredly, if your minds are on earthly things, you become weak in every way and your life is not worth being called a ‘Christian life’.   You are then living the same as the world. It is easy to get caught up in the things of the world without a vision of heaven but look!   Do

Soaring like an Eagle

God created us with an overwhelming desire to soar.  Our desire to develop and use every ounce of potential.  He's placed in us is not egotistical.  He designed us to be tremendously productive and "to mount up with wings like an eagle," realistically dreaming of what He can do with our potential.                                                     Carol Kent (Taken from trvst.world) Sometime ago, it was pointed out to me that there are two kinds of people in this world… Pecking chickens and Soaring eagles.   That was a shock to my system but then I began to think about it and observed. The differences spreads throughout their entire life.   A chicken and an eagle. The pecking chickens are those that want everything so and so and are quite confined to one way of thinking.   They of course never see beyond their coop and are happy with the little that they have. Unbeknownst to the chickens and that is very sad, they have the potential to become eagles if they choos

Back from Vacation

Hello all of you my friends and supporters, We just came back from our holiday up North of British Columbia.  The weather was beautiful, the roads were typical of winter conditions.  But we had a good time with friends and family.  The main goal of our visit was our brand new grandson who turned 1 month as we arrived.  What a sweetheart he is going to be.  His name is Ryley.   Coming up there is some interesting material in the making as the Lord reveals himself to me. We will talk about "waiting on the Lord" and "Worship" I am looking forward to sharing this stuff with you next week Thursday 15 to be exact. By the look of things it seems you all enjoyed the quiz. Please give me some feedback as I would love to hear from all of you. You can write in English, French and Spanish now since I am learning Spanish. Thank you for all the love and prayers.  You are  awesome because God made you that way and he does not make junk.  On the contrary, he uses junk to make somet

What a Comfort!

What a Comfort! Here I can only but transliterate from the French Bible into English.   The French Bible says it so well:   (Zechariah 2:12) “Whoever attacks you will attack what is most precious to me”.   This is the literal translation of what it says in the French Bible. I thought that personally it was so comforting to that whoever messes up with me will have to face my heavenly Father. In the context he talks about the nations and Israel, but Israel is God’s people as I am as well. In this verse I put myself in the place of Israel and the opponents are the nations. You can also find comfort in this that as a God’s child you are protected like Israel and you are the apple of his eye, the very target of his concern.   It’s only when we see our position with God through the eye of faith that we can appreciate his Presence in our lives. God ahead you can do that appropriately with some of the promises made to God’s people. Also, God promises that the nations will be

It was all Decided

It was all Decided   For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.  In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will.  (Ephesians 1:4-5) As I read Ephesians 1:4, 5, the famous verse about ‘predestination’ I cannot help but think about the history of my immigration trip to Canada from Europe. A trip that had carefully been planned by my parents as they dreamed it over and again.   To me this trip was like a predestination that started by a desire which I believe originated with God.   God had given my parents soon after I was born the dream to one day make it to Canada as a family.   Originally, predestination starts with a desire in God’s heart and end with our decision to live for him.   That is the only interpretation I can give right now about predestination.   A decision made by God ahead of time since creation to have us become his children.   It is a mind-boggi

Let us own it!

In the eighth month of the second years of Darius, the word of the Lord came to the prophet Zechariah son of Berekiah, the son of Iddo: The Lord was very angry with your ancestors.   Therefore, tell the people:   This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Return to me,’ Declares the Lord Almighty, And I will return to you’ says the Lord Almighty.   Do not be like your ancestors to whom the earlier prophets proclaimed: This is what the Lord Almighty says: Turn from your evil ways and your evil practices.’ But they would not listen or pay attention to me, declares the Lord. Where are your ancestors now? And the prophets, do they live forever? But did not my words and my decrees, which I commanded my servants the prophets, overtake your ancestors? Then they repented and said, ‘The Lord Almighty has done to us what our ways and practices deserve, just as he determined to do.’” (Zechariah 1:1-6)   This is truly a beautiful passage in the Bible.   We see the heart of
