Jeremiah 17:14

O Lord, you alone can heal me; you alone can save.  My praises are for you alone!

 In this verse, the word "alone" is mentioned three times.  God is the only one who can heal you at the present or heal your mariage or heal whatever needs healing.  He is also the only one who can save you, that's true!
But let's never forget the second part of this verse...He is the only
deserves or should get all the praise for any healing or salvation of any kind.  He is the one who initiates it all.

Is It a Blue Christmas?

  Just to Let everyone know that I usually post on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays .  I will try to keep posting during Christmas as well on those days.   Is It a Blue Christmas? For those people who are fortunate to not grieve right now please bear with us.  My mother passed away last May.  I am living now in her house with my wife.  If my wife was not with me, I would find this very difficult.  Being in this house is so emotional and everything reminds me of what it used to be when I was with my parents.  Sunday morning the pastor preached on one of the attributes of the son that was to be born to Mary and Joseph about 700 years after the prophecy in the book of Isaiah 9:6. The Holy Spirit: My Guarantee

  Holy Spirit is a Guarantee   Being a Christian is not based on emotions or on an opinion, but it must be based on assurance of the Comforter in me . The Holy Spirit is the seal of guarantee of the Eternal life God has promised to every Christian. We know we are a Christian not by our feelings but by the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives.   The Spirit is the guarantee [the first installment, the pledge, a foretaste] of our inheritance until the redemption of god’s own [purchased] possession [His believers], to the praise of His glory. (Ephesians 1:14 Amplified )    It is a personal reason   For this very reason we ought to praise him. It is a personal reason for our well-being as Christian. We are going to make it because of the Holy Spirit being active in our lives.   We must allow him to be involved in our daily lives intimately, not holding on to any of our self-ambitions.
