A simple look at the first and second chapter of the Book of Genesis shows that Adam and Eve were perfect with some choices to make.  Since the time they disobeyed God until the time of Jesus Christ coming to earth, God was using sacrificed as a substitute to bring back his people to himself.  Irrevocably, God has wanted to be friends with humans for a long time.

Over 2000 years ago Jesus Christ was born in this world to save it from sin and punishment coming.  The wrath of God is upon every man and woman that does not believe in him.  There is a total separation between humans and God currently.  He is prompting and urging them one at a time to have a relationship with him through Jesus.

 

Why Jesus?

 

He is the only human who was born of a virgin (Mary).  Consequently, because of this he did not inherit the sinful nature that we all have, since he was conceived by the Holy Spirit in her womb.  This makes him the Son of God, born out of a virgin.  Thus, he is perfect as God, but human as us yet without sin.

 

By his Sacrifice

 

Unavoidably, he needed to be able to relate to each and all humans on earth past, present and future so he died on the Cross as a sacrifice for the forgiveness of sin.  When you accept Jesus Christ in your heart which if you have not done so yet I strongly urge you to do.  Doing so will put to death the old spiritual self and new life of Jesus will flood your soul.  The Holy Spirit who is God’s person as well in the form of a spirit will help you from within you to live the life of a born again Christian (John 3:6)

Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.  You should not be surprised at my saying. ‘You must be born again.’   (John 3:6)

Changes are happening

 Due to unforeseen circumstances I will not be posting for a while I will keep you updated.  In fact, we have too many changes happening in our lives and one of them is to visit our grandchildren.  We have now 3 grandchildren compare to just one a year ago and we have to keep them all happy. It is a big job being grandparents and we are the only ones who can do it for ours little ones. We have more changes happening in the future which will impact the way I blog.  I will keep you posted.  Please pray for us for safe trip.

The Fruit of the Spirit...Patience?

  As I was being tested, patience was required, and I was waiting with much complaining.   Then my wife encouraged me to read the Fruit of the Spirit out of the Amplified version of the Bible.   So, I did and here it is: “But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others],   joy [inner] peace , patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting],   kindness, goodness,   faithfulness,   gentleness,   self-control.   Against such things there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22-23) These verses not only apply to us as we go through our daily life but especially as we wait for the Lord’s return.   How we act while we wait for him does matter and it is very important.   We learn as we go through trials.   For a lot of people, the word “patience” is not welcome in their vocabulary, and I can tell by my own life I am not the only one who finds it difficult to act well while we wait.   We can all wait as this
