A simple look at the first and second chapter of the Book of Genesis shows that Adam and Eve were perfect with some choices to make.  Since the time they disobeyed God until the time of Jesus Christ coming to earth, God was using sacrificed as a substitute to bring back his people to himself.  Irrevocably, God has wanted to be friends with humans for a long time.

Over 2000 years ago Jesus Christ was born in this world to save it from sin and punishment coming.  The wrath of God is upon every man and woman that does not believe in him.  There is a total separation between humans and God currently.  He is prompting and urging them one at a time to have a relationship with him through Jesus.

 

Why Jesus?

 

He is the only human who was born of a virgin (Mary).  Consequently, because of this he did not inherit the sinful nature that we all have, since he was conceived by the Holy Spirit in her womb.  This makes him the Son of God, born out of a virgin.  Thus, he is perfect as God, but human as us yet without sin.

 

By his Sacrifice

 

Unavoidably, he needed to be able to relate to each and all humans on earth past, present and future so he died on the Cross as a sacrifice for the forgiveness of sin.  When you accept Jesus Christ in your heart which if you have not done so yet I strongly urge you to do.  Doing so will put to death the old spiritual self and new life of Jesus will flood your soul.  The Holy Spirit who is God’s person as well in the form of a spirit will help you from within you to live the life of a born again Christian (John 3:6)

Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.  You should not be surprised at my saying. ‘You must be born again.’   (John 3:6)

The Fruit of the Spirit...Patience?

  As I was being tested, patience was required, and I was waiting with much complaining.   Then my wife encouraged me to read the Fruit of the Spirit out of the Amplified version of the Bible.   So, I did and here it is: “But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others],   joy [inner] peace , patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting],   kindness, goodness,   faithfulness,   gentleness,   self-control.   Against such things there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22-23) These verses not only apply to us as we go through our daily life but especially as we wait for the Lord’s return.   How we act while we wait for him does matter and it is very important.   We learn as we go through trials.   For a lot of people, the word “patience” is not welcome in their vocabulary, and I can tell by my own life I am not the only one who finds it difficult to act well while we wait.   We can all wait as this

Is It a Blue Christmas?

  Just to Let everyone know that I usually post on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays .  I will try to keep posting during Christmas as well on those days.   Is It a Blue Christmas? For those people who are fortunate to not grieve right now please bear with us.  My mother passed away last May.  I am living now in her house with my wife.  If my wife was not with me, I would find this very difficult.  Being in this house is so emotional and everything reminds me of what it used to be when I was with my parents.  Sunday morning the pastor preached on one of the attributes of the son that was to be born to Mary and Joseph about 700 years after the prophecy in the book of Isaiah 9:6. The Holy Spirit: My Guarantee

  Holy Spirit is a Guarantee   Being a Christian is not based on emotions or on an opinion, but it must be based on assurance of the Comforter in me . The Holy Spirit is the seal of guarantee of the Eternal life God has promised to every Christian. We know we are a Christian not by our feelings but by the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives.   The Spirit is the guarantee [the first installment, the pledge, a foretaste] of our inheritance until the redemption of god’s own [purchased] possession [His believers], to the praise of His glory. (Ephesians 1:14 Amplified )    It is a personal reason   For this very reason we ought to praise him. It is a personal reason for our well-being as Christian. We are going to make it because of the Holy Spirit being active in our lives.   We must allow him to be involved in our daily lives intimately, not holding on to any of our self-ambitions.
