Urgently Needed- Prayers for All Men (1Timothy 2:1-4)

 “This is why it is crucial that we be all the more engaged and attentive to the truths that we have heard so that we do not drift off course” (Hebrews 2:1) (TPT)

I know this post is going to look strange to some of you. Different translation.  Different layout.

Have you noticed something different about your life lately? A certain drifting off course like an aimless ship.  That can be dangerous by one degree.

The following verses were impressed on me like a ‘pay attention’ checkmark…

Paul is writing to Timothy and millions of others through the New Testament wonder.  This is what he writes:

“Most of all, I am writing to encourage you to pray with gratitude to God.  Pray for all men with all forms of prayers and requests as you intercede with intense passion.  And pray for every political leader and representative, so that we would be able to live tranquil, undisturbed lives, as we worship the awe-inspiring God with pure hearts.  It is pleasing to our Savior-God to pray for them.  He longs for everyone to embrace his life and return to the full knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:1-4) (TPT)

I will be the first one to admit it,  I have failed miserably at praying for our leaders and I should be blamed for the situation this country is heading.  My prayers have been more like complains about our leaders and I know I am not the only one.  I hear people everywhere complaining about this and these leaders instead of praying.  You read the same verses I do, that we may live tranquil lives.  I am certain that these verses are spoken to every Christian on this planet.  We need to pray for our leaders with passion that, and there is a promise here, we may live tranquil lives.  WOW!  I am telling you this is importantly huge.  You imagine if every Christian on the globe prayed like this…Our lives would be changed and even get better financially.  Have you not noticed the noose of inflation getting tighter and tighter?  How much do you want it to change?  Then get on your knees and plead and I will do the same.  Canada needs help and we need it NOW.  Your country needs help and it needs it NOW.  PRAY, PRAY, PRAY!

Please pray also for me that I may pray according to these words.  I fall short of this.
