Revival? (Acts 2:18-21)

                                     Revival?

In the last days, God said,
I will pour out my Spirit upon all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
and your old men will dream dreams,
In those days I will pour out my Spirit
upon all my servants, men and women alike
 and they will prophesy.
And I will cause wonders in the heaven above
and signs on the earth below---
blood and fire and clouds of smoke.
The sun will be turned into darkness,
and the moon will turn bloodred
before that great and glorious day of the Lord arrives.
And anyone who calls on the name of the Lord
will be saved.

                                                  (Acts 2:18-21)

Revival?  How does it come?  With much prayer they often say, and then repentance.  Repentance?  What do we have  to do for that?

I need the Lord everyday and every hour or I would not be able to live.  Can you say that?  I can because I have seen the bottom of the barrel. I have been at the verge of suicide and I don't want to go back.  I am not mad at anybody, but annoyed at what I see in the Church and the Lord gives me the words to go along with what I see.  I have repented many times in 40 years.  The Lord has greatly helped me.

I have always believed in revival, but never experienced it until now.  Every sin of the past has grown in my face and I am fully aware that I am not the only one.  The Word of God has opened before me like never before.  What I share I maybe share it publicly because it needs to be shared publicly.  Too long, people have got away in keeping it to themselves.  It has been kept in the dark and everything has to come out to the light even if embarrassment comes as a result.  Your reputation will always be greater after you repent.  There is more than a reputation in life.  God is higher.

Many years ago, I lost my reputation as a cook and I was totally devastated.  Over the years, God has shown me about his wonderful presence and that he is bigger than our little minds or spirits can comprehend. He is in the renovation business and he is about to change the Church all over to make her ready for his coming.  Some will want to still hold to their old ways and some be will renewed in power and strength.  To all, I encourage them to leave the old ways behind and find forgiveness.

The new way of things will not be like the old and stuff that was done then cannot be done today.

I believe that God is about to do a great thing in the Church.  We will only prophesy if we are opened to it and obedient to him.  Basically all the people mentioned in the prophecy will be endowed supernaturally by God and nothing will be able to stop them.  Prophets will come in the Church in droves and saturate it.  When one is turned off another one will rise up. Yes it will be unpleasant for most but who are we to tell how God should operate.

God is not just calling me but many people through his Word.  With me, it was 1Peter 4:1 "For if you are willing to suffer for Christ, you have decided to stop sinning." Then I was willing to change and read Ezekiel.  Changes upon changes happened and it overflowed.  He will bless us beyond measure when we respond to his Spirit with boldness.

We will just follow the leading of the Spirit.
