Amid our changing world it is nice to know that we have some constants, like the person of our faith, God. He never changes, his intention to love us will stay the same. Within the next Bible verse, we see a strong affirmation of this love for us. Several centuries before its conception, the Son of God , Jesus was prophesied revealing who he is and the appearance of His Kingdom. Here is the prophecy from the prophet Isaiah in chapter 9:6 For to us a Child shall be born , to us a Son shall be given; And the government shall be upon His shoulder, And His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God , Everlasting Father , Prince of Peace Within the season of Christmas , He is our Anchor for our faith. But our God is in heaven; He does whatever pleases. The idols [of the nations] are silver and gold, The work of man's hands They have mouths, but they cannot speak; They have eyes, but they cannot see; They have ears, but cannot hear; They have noses, but cannot smell; They have hands, but cannot feel;...
