A Time like No Other

I do not usually venture in prophetic matters; I just observe the world around me and draw my conclusions.

1)      Evidence

We see all around us evidence of the world destroying itself, but everything seems alright, they say.  We see robots replacing humans everywhere and yet we say nothing and see nothing.  There is a great chance that that plane you flying on will be piloted by a robot.  Not sure of what I am talking about…There is a company in the States, building human robots to order.  The company is called Cyberlife.  You can already order a woman who can do housework or order a doctor or anything you wish.

2)      This is not a time to lose hope, it is a time to thrive and obey God. To wait and endure

The time that the prophet Daniel talked about is closely coming upon us.  I am reading the end of the book in chapter 12 where Daniel was told the words but not understanding them in verse 8

“I heard but I did not understand.  Then I said, “O my lord, what shall be the outcome of these things?”  He said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end.  Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be refined, but the wicked shall act wickedly.  And none of the wicked shall understand, but those who are wise shall understand…(Daniel 12:8-10)

I have heard prophecies about the end times for a long time and maybe we have grown accustomed to the world around us and prophecies related to it.  I noticed tough a slow change in the development of life around the globe.  We get use to its sins and accept them as part of life.  Robots are all around us and we don’t notice them. 

3)      God’s timetable

Then, in verses 11-13 And from the time that the regular burnt offering is taken away and the abomination that makes desolate is set, there shall be 1,290 days.  Blessed is he who waits and arrives at 1,335 days.  But go your way till the end. And you shall rest and shall stand in your allotted place at the end of the days.

we are given a good indication of the time of the end.  A sacrifice no longer offered to God and an abomination taking his place in the Temple.  Watch for that sign because maybe like the robots it will appear without being noticed and then the end will come upon us. 

A happy note is given to those who will remain firm in their Waiting during a certain time.

There is our warning we must remain firm in our waiting and blessed is the one who waits. And remains firm till the end. Because of all people, we, Christians, should understand what is going on.
