Mark 5:27-29, 5:34 Jesus... More than a Swear Word!

She had heard about Jesus, so she came up behind him through the crowd and touched the fringe of his robe.  For she thought to herself, “If I could only touch his clothing, I will be healed.”  Immediately the bleeding stopped, and she could feel that she had been healed”....

… And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. You have been healed.”

This woman had been sick for quite a while, gone through many doctors and she had spent all she had. But it says that she had become worse. Do you imagine the hopelessness of the situation. How is your situation? Is it getting better or worse?
She had heard about Jesus ,but notice, that didn’t make things better for her. It didn’t change a thing except made her more curious. Maybe you have heard about Jesus and that made you curious. Maybe you also have a hopeless situation you can’t get out of.  If that’s you go ahead let your guards down and step into the crowd where Jesus is. No one notices you, they are there just because they are curious like you. Now just step out and touch his clothes. Nobody will notice except Jesus. Then you could be healed...Now you are healed. He is your Healer, no longer someone you heard about but you have experienced him. How will you ever find out if you don’t  experience Jesus. He wants to be all that you ever hoped a person would be to you and more. He doesn’t force anyone, he is a gentleman. Just go to him and find out. Then with suffering Job in the Old Testament you will be able to say: "I had heard about you before, but now I have seen you..." (Job 42:5)
Finally, she hears the words, ‘You have been healed’ imagine how sweet these words would be like to a person in such desperate situation. 'You are healed', I have actually been waiting all my life for these words! Do you mean I am really healed?
Yes, you are healed!
